Ruka Minazuki's mother. Former surname: Yomotsuki.
Having realized the extent of the obsession with the Mask of the Lunar Eclipse that consumed her ex-husband, Soya Yomotsuki, Sayaka fled to mainland Japan with her daughter, Ruka. She was often confined to her bed due to her weak constitution. Sayaka begs Choshiro to look for Ruka on Rogetsu Isle, and hands him the Spirit Stone Flashlight.

Ruka Minazuki's father and the ex-husband of Sayaka.
The creator of the masks used in the Rogetsu Kagura. Soya locks himself away in his workshop, intent on crafting the true Mask of the Lunar Eclipse that even his ancestor Soestu Yomotsuki failed to accomplish.

The seventh head of the Yomotsuki family and ancestor of Soya Yomotsuki.
Soetsu's masks were said to differ greatly from those made by Soan, the first head of the Yomotsuki. While Soan's creations served as vessels for spirits, Soetsu's were able to embody the very spirits themselves. Though Soetsu managed to complete the Mask of the Lunar Eclipse, he disappeared soon after a terrible catastrophe struck Rogetsu Isle. Year of death unknown.
