The Story Mode of "DYNASTY WARRIORS 8: Xtreme Legends" features the legendary officer Lu Bu, who rides the famous Red Hare and is often referred to in text as "Among men, Lu Bu; Among horses Red Hare". Additional features include new characters and new hypothetical stories, a revamped bodyguard system, additional parameters and increased level caps, a more powerful weapon fusion, plus more collection elements such as weapons, animals, and bodyguards for a massive amount of content.
