Photo Contest Winners Announcement

Thank you to everyone who submitted your amazing photos.
From hauntingly beautiful shots to truly unique perspectives, we loved seeing the creativity in every entry, and the development team enjoyed going through them.
There were so many wonderful entries that it was hard to choose, but we are pleased to present a selection that left a particularly strong impression.

    There's a beautiful calmness with this one. We were drawn in by Mio's expression as the crimson butterfly casually touches her shoulder, looking as if she can feel its emotions. Though the entire screen is pretty dark overall, the image also portrays a certain serenity.

    We received a lot of pictures featuring the Camera Obscura. We liked this one in particular as the projected image features the stream where the twins used to play as children. Mio's expression makes it seem like she's remembering her childhood, which fits well with the projected image.

    We won't comment on the details of this scene, as it occurs fairly late in the story, but this picture was chosen for its dramatic composition.

    This user has sent us several exquisite pictures. They were all wonderful, but we chose this one to represent them. We were especially impressed by how scary the ghostly hands look as they reach for Mio and Mayu.

    We chose this one because Mio's pose looks really cool in portrait view. The reflection of the light on the golden embroidery on this outfit creates a wing-like shape which was nicely captured here. Her pained expression demonstrates the deep loneliness she feels while missing her twin sister.
