Today, KOEI TECMO Europe and developer Omega Force, alongside collaborators TYPE-MOON and Aniplex Inc., invite all players to engage in a new Holy Grail War with the epic launch trailer of Fate/Samurai Remnant, their latest action RPG. This brand new chapter in the fan-favourite Fate series is now available on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Nintendo Switch™, and PC Windows via Steam®.
Throughout the Fate franchise, pairs of Masters and heroic spirits – also known as Servants – have been fighting across history in a series of Holy Grail Wars, with the winning duo receiving an ancient artifact that grants wishes. Fate/Samurai Remnant continues the series’ epic Holy Grail War in the fourth year of the Keian Era, Edo Period Japan. It has been several decades since the end of a turbulent, blood-soaked era, and while the people are finally enjoying peace and tranquility, a battle between seven pairs of Masters and their Servants is about to begin as the Waxing Moon Ritual unfolds in the shadows. This is where the game’s hero, Miyamoto Iori, a young man in Asakusa, finds himself caught in the violence alongside his Servant Saber as they fight to be the last pair remaining in order to receive the granter of wishes, the Waxing Moon Vessel.
Fate/Samurai Remnant is now available in both Standard and Digital Deluxe editions. The Digital Deluxe Edition features the base game, a digital artbook and soundtrack, the Fate/Samurai Remnant Season Pass that includes three DLC sets*, and the Season Pass Bonus item “Hallowed Relic Sword Mountings”.
Additionally, a special TREASURE BOX version of Fate/Samurai Remnant is available for purchase exclusively through the KOEI TECMO Europe Online Store. The TREASURE BOX includes the stunning Fate/Samurai Remnant material (art book), a B2 sized cloth poster, original soundtrack CD, Command Spell stickers, bonus costume DLC (set of two costumes), the Official Short Story Translation book, and a collectible box.
