Fighting as a Team

What are TP? Twin Actions Support Guard Dual Trigger

Cooperating with other teammates and activating special commands will allow you to advance the battle to your advantage.
Activating these special commands requires TP (Technical Points) or DG (Dual Gauge).

What are TP?

TP (Technical Points) are required to activate Twin Actions and Support Guard. TP accumulates when characters use basic commands like Attack, Skill and Block.
By swinging and hitting a monster in the field, you can start combat with a small amount of TP.

Note: TP is not carried over to the next fight.

Twin Actions

Twin Actions are special commands in which a member of the Back-up team and a member of the Attack team change places with a combination attack and they require 1 TP to be activated.
When activating a Twin Action, first select a character that will be your partner, then select the actions, such as a skill or an item.
Triggering a skill will consume a little less MP.

Note: The first character to act cannot use a charged skill that will require a number of turns to activate.

The second character to act can only use a skill or item that targets the enemy.

Support Guard

Requires 1 TP.
Protect a member of the Attack team from an enemy attack by switching them with a member of the Back-up team.
Support Guard will be activated after you select the character to guard when another character is being attacked.

Note: If Support Guard is canceled, the original target will be attacked.

Dual Trigger

A powerful move that features two characters attacking together.
It can be activated when the DG (Dual Gauge) is at 100% or more by pressing the assigned buttons to choose the two characters to perform the attack.
Activating Dual Trigger will consume all of the DG. The more DG used, the stronger the technique will be.
